This is definitely the cheapest way to get around the city. There are over two hundred bus and tram lines.
The fastest is the underground, but unfortunately, it is not connected with the airport. There is only one public transport operator called ZTM .


The Warsaw Metro is composed of a single line, divided into 21 stations and cuts the city from north to south (from Kabaty to Młociny). The second line is under construction.


The bus and tram network in Warsaw is very satisfying.
– There are ordinary buses, which stop at every bus-stop (bus numbers in black) and express buses which stop at selected bus-stops (bus numbers in red).
– Ordinary and express buses run from about 5am-11.30pm
– Night buses start working from 11pm and their number begin from the letter N. These buses stop only on request. The main point for night buses is the Warsaw Central Railway Station. (Dworzec Centralny)
– Line No 180 is a tourists route. It runs from the old cemetery „Cmentarz Powązkowski”, through the Old Town  and along the Royal Route to the Palace in Wilanow.

When to validate tickets:
– the ticket must be validated after getting in the bus/tram at special validator or before entering the tube station at the gate.

transport3 Warsaw is easy to explore on foot since it is near the city center, you can visit the historical center and part of the Royal Route You can walk from Nowy Swiat and continue along Krakowskie Przedmieście. The route will take about an hour and a half to the historic center of the capital.
