– Departure by train/bus from Warsaw
– English guided tour in Wrocław (circa 3 hours)
– Dinner in a typical restaurant in Wrocław
– accomodation in a hotel

 

Day 2:

– visit to the Panorama of the Battle of Racławice – the oldest panorama painting in Poland
– return to Warsaw in late evening hours

Płock and Niepokalanów One day tour by car/bus

 

(Traces of Saint Faustina Kowalska and St. Maximilian Kolbe)

 

Płock – the city located one hundred kilometers away to the north-west of Warsaw. Former capital of Poland with graves of two Polish kings in the beautiful twelfth century cathedral. The place where sister Faustina Kowalska worked and where she received the first message about the Merciful Jesus in 1931.

 

Niepokalanów – where St. Maximilian Kolbe established the evangelistic centre and extended the Franciscan monastery. The priest was murdered in Auschwitz and he was canonized in 1982.

 

One day tour by car / bus

– Departure from Warsaw at about 8 am
– Visit to Płock, walk through the city, visit to the museum of st. Faustyna Kowalska
– visit to Niepokalanów and sightseeing of the monastery
– return to Warsaw in the late afternoon
